We're excited to be joining forces once again with Melbourne Food and Wine Festival to host Harveast, a feast in Melbourne's East. Join us for a day of food and wine with the best producers, brightest sommeliers and most brilliant chefs.  

Head down to meet local producers and suppliers, sip wine and stock up on all your culinary needs. With over 60 stallholders, sample the best the region has to offer and celebrate all the colour and flavour of Eastern Melbourne’s food scene. Plus we’ll have masterclasses and workshops with leading Australian tastemakers, live entertainment and more!

Event Highlights

We’re honoured to be hosting some of Melbourne’s most talented and respected foodies at Harveast this year. Overseeing proceedings is Richard Cornish, an award-winning food writer and a vocal commentator on food, food politics and sustainability. His love of Spanish food shines through in his work, co-writing four books on the cuisine.

Joining Richard on the Town Square stage at 1pm is the incredible David Moyle, discussing all things food and wine, as well as David’s latest projects and what inspires him when curating new flavours. 

Richard will be back on the stage with Shane Delia, TV presenter and author, hosting a Middle Eastern cooking demonstration live from 4pm. Don’t miss out on the Q&A afterwards to have all your culinary queries answered by two of the best.

Fancy yourself as the next MasterChef? Get up close and personal with some of Melbourne's most talented and respected pros in this exclusive masterclass series.

All masterclasses are located indoors in the Atrium in Ringwood Town Square, Level 3. Spaces are limited so bookings are essential.

Learn the techniques for preparing sashimi grade fish and watch as he discusses the key features of fish and its freshness, traditional Hamachi preparation, the importance of umami, and knife usage and maintenance. Christy Tania is an internationally acclaimed pastry and dessert chef, well known for her regular appearance on MasterChef and famous for her whimsical-meets-elegance creations. See Christy create a salted caramel St Honore –a classic French pastry and crème delight, with a twist!

With a CV spanning the globe, you can be sure Charlie Carrington’s culture-shifting menu at Atlas Dining Room is based on authenticity. Try to stop your mouth watering as he prepares a cured flathead with tomato and passionfruit ceviche. Get up close and personal with the signature Jimmy Grants Mr. Papadopoulos souva. Executive Chef Travis McAuley will show you step by step how to recreate this iconic souvlaki including your very own mustard aioli, soused onions, hand-cut fries and mouth-watering slow-roasted lamb.

Sip your way through the unique malts produced right here in Victoria. Executive Head Chef for Hunter & Barrel, Peter Popow is passionate about good food and the sensations it can evoke. With training in classical cuisine, coupled with attention to detail and butchery knowledge, learn Peter’s secrets to serving up a succulent pork belly roast.

Head down to our Little Garden Patch where kids can find their green thumb with workshops on seedlings, soil and sprouts. Start your seedlings in a paper cone to plant at home or decorate a recycled plant pot before planting a little sprout to watch it grow. There'll be a host of wholesome activities to keep them entertained.

Give the little ones big fun with The Wholesome Cook kid's workshop with Martyna Angell. Here they'll learn to create wholesome snacks like arancini chia seed balls and hot cross bun truffles. Robinson's Bookshop will also be selling Martyna's latest cookbook 'Recipes for Life's Seasons' on site.
