Asthma & Anaphylaxis

Nationally recognised training to manage asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.

Get the confidence, knowledge and skills to recognise and manage asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies including the use of the asthma inhaler and the adrenaline auto-injector.

This course is suitable for those who have responsibility for adults or children in the workplace or community who are at risk of anaphylaxis and/or asthma.

Learn how to recognise and respond to asthma and anaphylaxis first aid emergencies as well as asthma and anaphylaxis management. The course topics include signs, symptoms and triggers, asthma and anaphylaxis action plans, auto-injector administration inhaler and spacer administration.

On successful completion of this course you will be issued a Certificate which is a statement of attainment in:
• 22556VIC - Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace
• 22578VIC - Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis

This course is taught by St John trainers with over 100 years of combined experience and backgrounds in Nursing, Education and Leadership. They are ready to share their experience and passion with you that creates confidence to perform first aid should you ever need to.
